Manual – Pivotal response training

As I wrote in the post earlier to day. I´m working on a project involving teaching parents to children with autism to implement Pivotal Response Training in their home and community routines. The background for this project can be read about in the previous post.manualprt

I have now started to work on a draft for a manual we are planning to hand out to the parents for our work-shops. I´m using Koegel et al´s manual “How to Teach Pivotal Behaviors to Children With Autism: A Training Manual”.

We find this manual a great source, but as it is some years old we miss some elements from recent PRT-work. Specially we would like to implement some procedures promoting initiations in our manual, but we struggle with how to do it, and how to present it to parents. We will keep on working, and are thankful for any comments.
